The Burgess New Venture Challenge (NVC) is Michigan State University’s premier pitch competition for student entrepreneurs. Designed to strengthen early-stage ventures, the Challenge provides participants with access to experienced mentors, connections across Michigan’s entrepreneurial ecosystem, and more than $50,000 in available investment opportunities.

More than a competition, Burgess NVC is a learning experience for undergraduate and graduate student founders seeking to turn bold ideas into viable ventures. Attendees will hear pitches from emerging innovators and witness the next generation of Spartan entrepreneurs shaping the future of business and technology.

The Burgess Institute for Entrepreneurship & Innovation prepares students to create meaningful impact by equipping them with the mindset, experience, and community needed to pursue entrepreneurial careers.
