Description:
PContent is no longer just marketing. It is innovation.
The Influence Lab: Content as Innovation is a featured experience of 517 Entrepreneurship & Innovation Week that explores how creators, entrepreneurs, and professionals are using content creation to build influence, shape culture, and create new business opportunities.
This session reframes influence as something that can be intentionally designed and scaled. Attendees will gain a clear understanding of how personal branding, content strategy, and partnerships function as real economic drivers in today’s creator economy.
The first portion of the evening features a panel conversation and keynote-style insights from creators, strategists, and business leaders who are actively building influence through content. The discussion unpacks the core pillars of the InfluenceLansing framework, including:
Personal branding as a strategic business asset
Content creation and platform-specific strategies
Brand deals, partnerships, and monetization
Business fundamentals that support sustainable creative careers
Creators are encouraged to actively capture content throughout the event, turning the space into a live demonstration of influence in action.
The second half of the evening transitions into Cocktails & Co-Working, led by Kierra Lanice. In this interactive workshop, attendees will use guided worksheets to apply the session’s four core themes to their own personal brands, content ideas, and partnership strategies. The experience blends collaboration, networking, and practical execution in a relaxed, social setting.
The Influence Lab is designed to leave participants with clarity, momentum, and tangible next steps, not just inspiration.
