Description:
Learn more about the Greater Lansing region’s history, attractions, and visitor experiences in this engaging four hour Certified Tourism Ambassador (CTA) course. Offered by Choose Lansing®, the CTA program is designed to inspire and equip frontline staff, community members, students, and volunteers with the knowledge and tools to create welcoming and memorable visitor experiences across the region.

​Participants will gain insight into Lansing’s cultural assets, major events, and local destinations while learning how to confidently share the story of the region with visitors and guests. The program emphasizes the important role that community members play in shaping the perception of Greater Lansing and helping visitors feel like they belong here.

​For $20, participants complete a half day course followed by an open book exam to become a Certified Tourism Ambassador. Those who complete the program receive an official CTA designation, a stylized lapel pin, and recognition as an ambassador for the Lansing region.
